Post-transition Sasieni quality

Hey friends. Contemplating a modern (post-transition) Sasieni online. Having read Stephen Smith's invaluable 'Connecting the Dots,' I'm a little skeptical about the quality of the later/new pipes. Anyone have any experience with these? How do they smoke? How do they fit together?

Hey Dave, marked down to $95 from $135. I was looking at a 'Ruff Root 12.' Your opinion would be much appreciated.

I got there because I was dreaming about a Castello Sea Rock but I will likely never have one. Maybe someday a Northern Briars Rox Cut. Should I save up for the Northern Briars instead?
