Ever since I posted a thread with picture of my collection, I find my self looking at the pictures from time to time, just admiring my collection. I also pick up my pipes and just look at then sometimes. Anyone else do this?

Vanity?... Isn't that one of the seven deadly sins?

Nice pics, Lawrence. What is the one in the 2nd pic? Really liking that one.

Like any of us I believe we appreciate the craftsmanship involved and the beauty of the wood, the last bowl and how good it tasted.

It was my Dad's. The band covers up some of the markings, but I believe it is a Caminetto.

I think my Dad purchased it from the Tinder Box in or around 1974 or 5.

I don't know who carved it, but Caminetto was a confluence of greatness.

Pepino Ascorti and Luigi Radice formed Caminetto and the rest is history.

Here's an interesting read from Smokingpipes.com: Caminetto Pipes

It's one of my most cherished possessions.

Don't have any prints of the pipe pictures but do enjoy the pipes themselves, visually as well as for smoking.
