Well I recently moved and have been wanting to start restoring pipes. Today I built a work bench and mounted my drill press, vice, and bench grinder to it. So the pipe resoration center is finally open for business. I also posted a pic of my first groups of pipes that I am going to restore.

I know what I need, smoke, I can't recall the last time I tasted it....Gandalf in the mines of Moria.

"we shall have to share pipes, as good friends must at a pinch'....'I keep a treasure or two near my skin, as precious as rings to me. Here's one: my old wooden pipe. And here's another an unused one...He held up a small pipe with a wide flattened bowl, and handed it to Gimli. 'Does that settle the score between us', said Merry. 'Most noble hobbit, it leaves me deep in your debt."

Good start! Ditch the grinder and get a buffer! You will need thousands of pipe cleaners,Q-tips,gallons of alcohol, wax.buffing compounds, several grits of sandpaper, stains, cotton rags,Micro-Mesh,small brushes,de-oxidizer (bleach or Oxy-clean)and..........
    Have fun!!

Sorry but this Johnstephen124 guy is either trying to be funny (but I'm not laughing) or he's a spammer who's made it through security.
