Well that's certainly different. I've been trying to find a mannequin hand to use as a pipe rest on the table beside my chair. I think it would work well and be a real conversation starter. :D
I'm surprised no one noticed that the stem on the pipe is turned the wrong way!
Other than that, after just having gotten into season 5 of 'The Walking Dead' it's looks rather unsettling.
I store some pipes with the stem turned like that also, after seeing that a lot of old timers & Europeans doing so. Keeps some shapes from falling out. Took a jig saw to a rack to cut the front of the round top out so they could lay in without turning stems.
Sorta like, "The Brits & Bahamians drive on the wrong side of the street!"
I'm not sure why, but I think it's the signet ring that breaks the creepy camel's back for me. If it were just anatomically correct fingers that would be one thing but the ring suggests it's a specific persons fingers.
I didn't even notice the signet ring. I thought that finger was broken or flawed at first glance. Regardless, it looks like something you'd find in a serial killer's house. It's just missing a layer of human skin.
