Visitors are welcome too to enjoy the hot meals (best value in downtown Philly), drinks and of course the variety of blends the members bring. A new guest might be making it in from Hagerstown, MD. We'll see if anyone has plans on IPSD on the 20th, which is a Monday. There'll also be some gearing up for the NYC-Newark Pipe Show next month = possible that some spare briars might spring loose at the meeting.
Last month, one of the major topics was guns and permits on carrying. Do you suppose the fact that the City of Brotherly Love is running one fatal shooting per day is an influence? This part of town is very safe, since tourists and business traffic plus the influx of resident yuppies and metrosexuals are huge.
With trout stocking next week, we'll probably be talking flyfishing.
One member made it last month even though bambino was a few days old. We'll see if wifey gives him another pass.
