Petescudo Irish Navy De Luxe

I was waiting for something of note for my double century post and this is pretty good.
I was down to the bottom of a tin of Pete Irish Flake. Not enough tobacco to make a full pipe. I am also close to the bottom of a tin of Escudo Navy De Luxe with enough unwrapped coins to make maybe 1.5 pipes.
In the espirit de all sorts, I mixed them with delicious results. It had the oakiness of the dark fired that predominate the Irish Flake with the spiciness of the Escudo perique with the Virginia mostly hanging back but definitely holding the entire experience together.
I have about one more pipe of this that I'm now very much looking forward to tomorrow.

I've got a jar that's got everything from 1Q to fvf in it...its pretty good.

I have a box top that I use to dry out whatever I happen to smoking. All the bits that don't get loaded into the bowl get brushed to the corner. After the pile in the corner gets big enough (once a week or so) I load a bowl with the collected mixed leftovers. Sometimes it's amazing. Sometimes...not so much.
