What a day, in the UK perfect Summers day. Spent some hours on our allotment then a small beer and a Peterson full bent with some Irish Flake. Boy it came round the corner and kicked my butt. Very nice smoke. Considering in all sense and perpose I should be dead with my cancer. It's days like today I cherish, and know that miracles do happen.

That was some smoke, the best Flake I have so far experienced, normally choosing ribbon or ready rubbed.

It's good to be alive, take my advice don't take life for granted and cherish every day.

From what I can gather, Paul 'Larryson' Hubartt is back making pipes again. At least his website is back up and running.
Some of his pipes are a little 'modern' for my personal tastes but others are absolute crackers, all of them things of beauty :puffy:
Regards,
Jay.

I hope you have many more great smokes like that, oldmansmoking!
Glad you like your pipe, John, and thanks for the kind words, Jay. Indeed I am making pipes again, but only on the weekends, and only when I have the time for it. I am also having my website re-built as it is out of date and has been hacked a few times and gone off-line. I won't be selling to retailers anymore, either. I just want to enjoy making pipes here and there and enjoy the hobby to its fullest. Mixing business with pleasure can work for some, but it doesn't work for me! -Paul
