Here it is after buffing the stem an applying a few coats of carnauba. Much better!

What a great pipe. You need to sew a pouch that will hold the broken-down pipe in a shirt pocket.

I think I had one like that but dont remember if there were other models. Cant remember if mine was bent or straight. I guess it was the Peterson Antique collection.
