I don't think I've been smoking pipes long enough or tried enough blends to justify giving tobacco reviews but I gotta give my impressions on Peter Stokkebye Peaches & Cream bulk blend.
First off this is a Flue Cured blend of Burley, Black Cavendish and Virginia grown in Zimbabwe and Malawi.
I ordered 8 ounces of this blend and have smoked many bowls over the past few weeks. This came as a fairly sticky and goopy blend so its best to let it air dry for an hour or so. Upon opening the bag the note does have a nice sweet scent of peaches and cream plus something else added I cannot detect. If you like a good aromatic blend this one might be for you. It does have a nice sweetness about it but not over powering and the true tobacco flavors do come through rather well with the Black Cavendish taking front row seat. Out of all the bowls I have smoked I've yet to get any tongue bite.
To sum it up, this is a very good aromatic blend, cool smoking and stays lit so give it a try. I found it to be a rather nice blend and you can't beat the price!

Thanks for the review! I've been looking at Peter Stokkebye blends recently as a way to save some $ and bulk up my cellar a bit. But I have so much to smoke now, I'll have to wait awhile (until I get a bigger cellar!). Glad you enjoyed it.
Are you going to age any of it? I'd be interested in how PS aros age. I'm hoping that they use quality tobaccos, so it would age well, but I can't be sure. The only PS I've smoked is Bullseye Flake. I got navy and twist flakes waiting for me to try.
I have some Altadis Peach Cobbler. I enjoyed it when it was fresh. Forgot about it for awhile, and recently opened the tin to find that it smelled (and later tasted) like a peach air freshener. Had to mix it w/some Altadis Bourbon to make it smokeable. I call it Southern Comfort (as I've heard that the liquer originated from soaking peaches in bourbon, and the juice squeezed out was called Southern Comfort).

Thank you for the helpful review. Peach is one of my favorite flavors and smells. After your review, I will order and try some. Thank you again. Great picture!
