Was at Peddler's Mall yesterday morning looking at some game pelts, and before leaving, I came across a familiar shaped pipe. Ten dollars later, I'm walking out with another Savinelli 9004. Needs a little love, and has some minor oxidation, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Damnation seize my soul if I give you quarters, or take any from you.

Only makes sense. Karma knew I had a new tobacco on the way, Belmont Station, and knew I needed a new pipe to try it in.

A 904? That just doesn’t seem like your style.

    Congrats she’s a looker.

Are we talking a bakers dozen now?

    Make aromatics great again.

Nice find! Good thing you found it NOW, instead of in a couple weeks.......... (New Year's Resolutions, remember?)

That's a lovely collection, Duane. All it needs is the centerpiece.

Though I have a Giubileo d'Oro on its way, that Virginia remains ever elusive.

    14. I was close. That’s a lovely picture. Great collection.

I can see you’ve been putting the miles on them. I’m fairly sure 6 down left side was on my workbench at one point? I never forget a pretty face.

Does the New Years res include the GBD version of the 904? I think we found a loophole

Good eye, that is the Sherwood Rock Briar 904, one of your restorations via Scrooge.

$10 is a steal, good find.

I don't know what peddlers mall is, I'm assuming some sort of Morraccan bazaar type place?

All sorts of odds and ends. Antiques, collectables, clothing, etc. I find a lot of vintage razors and knives there as well.

WARNING to all owners of shape 904: The manufacturing of these pipes includes an imbedded homing device. As evidenced by the Peddler's Mall example, resistance is futile...the previous owner of that pipe is likely still foraging through coat pockets and dark corners in search of it. Your ownership is but temporary. Enjoy your 904 while you have it, for it will eventually make its way to Duane's house.

Very nice family! With this new addition, you need just one more....just ooooonneeee mmmoooooorrreeee...

A fortnight's worth! Well done, Duane; great collection.

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The 4 digit code was pre-70s. Maybe a 90004 will be a churchwarden.

Any smoking difference in the 3 and 4 digits?

None that I can tell. The stems on the 9004s are narrower from side to side though.
