My recent P.A.D resulted from a Bulldog bite.
This is a Peterson Pre-Republic "PREMIER SELECTION" bulldog. If my sources are correct, it was made between 1937 and 1949 because it has "Made in Ireland" stamp. It has a replacement stem but other than that ...

Bird's eye is definitely one of my favourite things. Nice tight straight grain is nice and all but it just doesn't have that same eye catching quality to me.

Definitely something I'd call a great purchase.

It smokes fine. Not a dedicated blend yet but I smoked some P.A. for my first smoke. The P.A. was pushed way back by the ghosting of something like cherry cough syrup. Not the best start on this dog but nothing that an exorcism can't cure.
