Does anyone know if the Orlik golden sliced 100g tins are vacu sealed? I was going to buy a bunch to put up and wanted to make sure it was sealed. I think the solani 100g aren't sealed so I was just wondering.

And the flavor is well worth preserving. The perfection of simplicity.

What do you cut up the single flake with a knife or something? Any drawbacks there? I really love the orlik and its my go to tobacco. Plus the price is nice and even better if you buy it by the 100g tin.

So does "tamping lightly" exclude my c-clamp Rothnh? I have been using that lately, but it seems to be a little hard on the bottom of the pipe... It does seem to get a nice even pack though throughout the bowl though.

Eric, a simple mallet and correct sized dowel will pack your pipe just right. No need to use a c-clamp unless the tobacco is particularly moist. :D
Kidding aside, Roth is right when he says that the Orlik flake is easy to handle. Its nearly dry enough right out of the tin, it rubs out easily or cubes easily, burns ok folded and stuffed and its absolutely delicious.
