For you golden agers, do you remember watching “The Bowery Boys” back in the late 50’s early 60’s?
Hunts Hall, Leo Gorcey, David Gorcey old time actors I loved them in their rolls of young hoodlums in the streets of NYC.
James Cagney was also a favorite to watch.
“The Dead End Kids,” “The Bowery Boys”, my idols at a young age.
I would gladly watch them today if possible.

They haven't been showing Bowery Boys movies for quite a while. It couldn't be because those shows weren't "politically correct" could it?
That reminds me...I had a ball one day recently watching old "Little Rascals" shows on You Tube.

TCM has been showing "The Bowery Boys" films...They aren't as funny as when I was much younger.

I have a radio bar from the 30's. I was watching Angles with Dirty Faces one day (with Bogart, Cagney, O'Brien, and the Bowery Boys) and I saw my radio bar right there in the move. Bogey was fixing himself a drink right from the same one.
Almost fell off my chair.
I guess it is the little things.

Most of the Bowery boys and Dead End Kids started as the East Side Kids. My dad loved watching them, I liked them too.
