The Nording pipe I just got is a semi-churchwarden. I have had only one smoke in it but the length is great when using an armrest and it is really light weight. The pipe smokes cooler than I had expected and I can store it easily. I would assume the quality would be the same for a full sized churchwarden.

Nording churchwardens. I have a long-stemed zebra hunting pipe, not a classic churchwarden but along those lines. It is an up-market pipe gifted me by my wife, and an excellent smoker. Generally, Nording does fine pipes. He's very precise with production, and though there must be a dud in the many thousands, I've never met one, nor have I heard any complaints. Even his econo-pipes like the Eriksen, are precisely crafted.

I'll keep it simple... Doesn't matter if it's a $80.00 Nording or a $800.00 Nording. It's a Nording and is therefore, likely, awesome.
