So I can officially say that both my PAD and TAD have taken off. Wanted to share a few pics of some recent acquisitions:
1947 BBB Bullcap:
Boswell Smooth Sitter:
Dunhill Opera (1959?):
Radice Canadian:
I'm still trying to date my Dunhill, as it seems they kept changing their system over the decades. All are wonderful smokers, except the Radice, which I'm saving for a very speaicl occasion.

The Canadian seems to have a rounded off square stem instead of the usual oval, unique.

Agree on both points about the Canadian...crazy eyes, and love the rounded off square shank and stem. Unique! That little Dunnie is handsome as well. Congrats!

If you are trying to date your Dunhill, buy it some flowers. Should say yes after that...
The briar on that Canadian is amazing. Those are all really great pipes. Congrats!!

Like the Rhodesian for its irregular, less angular shaping. Of course the grain on the last pipe is stunning.

I'd bet if you shared some pics of the Dunnie's nomenclature the learned folk here could help ya date it.

Thanks Cortez for the pic help.

I will post a pic of the underside of the Dunhill for some dating help, good idea.

Love the Boswell's look, but it could be a might heavy for its size. I have a LaRocca poker with corny looping carving/rustication that I really like, that is much lighter weight than it looks.
