I just received my first meerschaum the other day. I bought it from Meerschaum Market. I am very pleased.

I smoked it yesterday afternoon. Very nice. This is my first experience with such a deep bowl. The match keeps going out when I try to re-light deep down in . How do I deal with this?

I use the long kitchen matches, and don't have a problem. Beautiful meer btw!

Wow just amazing! I'm sure you'll enjoy it for quite some time:) the wooden kitchen matches work great as Chasingembers had mentioned. Or just get a BBQ lighter, longer nozzle and able to get down deeper.

There is a beautiful meerschaum in here.

I don't use matches so often, perhaps I should try it to re-light when I smoke those chimney pipes.

That is a great looking pipe. I really like the colour and the carving pattern. Enjoy. :puffy:
