My 2 "new" estate pipes (and a couple of aged tins including a 2009 Christmas Cheer) are "out for delivery!"
I am too excited to get em, and show them off! (And it's Friday! :D )
I will post pictures when I receive them tonight, I just had to tell somebody.

My Friday is starting good as well. I ordered a stem for my cob, and it is waiting for me at the post office. It isn't a forever stem, it's made by someone on ebay. I have a forever stem on the way too.

Those forever stems make cobs 10x better, I probably wouldn't mess with cobs without one. (Guess I'm a snob)
I'd like to hear how the "other" stem works out too.

Well, Gray, I sure understand your excitement about the impending delivery. I've ordered or won 12 pipes this month but have received only 2 of them so far. The expectation of shipment is both stimulating and frustrating! :puffy:

Radice chubby billiard. This pipe is hefty and feels great to hold!

I have never tried any except the Reiner LGF! Time to smoke!

I went with the Dark Twist. The tin note is very sweet, like dried fruit. The smoke is much the same, kind of mild, and sweet. A little fruity, raisin like.

I've long desired to try Dark Twist. Reviews are mixed. Many find it bitey. Any further comment on this blend.
Yes, it does seem to bite a little, but no worse than any other VA can, at least for me. I like it so far, dark and a little smokey, and fruity.
