Just received my new Tomato handmade by Abi Natur (Canaan Pipes). Freehand pipe ,mouthpiece handcut lucite ,red & black lucite application. I still did not smoke it. Waiting for the right time. Can't wait. I will be smoking it with Virginia Flake due to the size of bowl.

Sweet. Love the grin and the colour of this one. And interesting shape on the shank. Looks handy in size too.

Does the shank design allow the air to cool more effectively or is it just built wider for the cosmetics? Either it's a cool unique design!

Congrats! He makes beautiful freehands, like the nature itself would carve the wood .

I have 2 Canaan pipes. This one is from olive wood. Great smoker! It is also special because he actually made everything... from cutting down the tree to the final product.

The mouth piece on the pipe is rather plugged in and out in a straight manner than rather turned around.When a gentle click is felt then the Mouth Piece is at its place,the drilling of the tenons is a bit different.

I am really looking forward to smoking the pipe soon. I am sure it will be a rewarding experience.

Very nice pipe indeed Sajgre. A very interesting design. I have ordered also an Olive wood pipe from ABI in Billiard shape. He mentioned that the wood comes from a 450 to 500 year old tree. I will post a photo of the pipe with its matching tamper soon. Have you smoked the pipe? can you share with us the other pipe that you have from Canaan?

The curves on both those pipes are quite fantastic! The second one(olive wood) looks very comfortable to hold!

Yes, I have smoked it many times, i have it about 1,5 years. It is a great smoker. This is the other pipe:

I don’t know about the age but I know that he searches for old trees that grow on rough terrain because the wood is much denser if the tree grows slower. You can see grain on the olive wood pipe, it is probably the best olive wood I have ever seen.

I like the bowl shape and color of that Canaan tomato but don't care to much for the shank.
