Being a huge Daniel Day-Lewis fan, when the movie There Will Be Blood was released, I couldn't wait to see it. When finding out he smoked pipes in the movie, it was a bonus. There are several scenes where he smokes a pipe and has a jar of pipes on his table in a few scenes as well. I found a bombed out Marxman pipe at an estate sale and made my own recreation of his pipe from the movie. I removed about 1/8 of an inch from the top of the bowl, rusticated it, and stained it dark brown. It looks pretty close to Daniel Plainviews pipe. I like to smoke it when I go bowling and drink whiskey.
