It is an old estate and I think not a great one at that, but the interior of the bowl, the mortise and the stem are in great shape, doesn't smell and I got it at a more than reasonable price.

What do you think?

Will ask for some advice on a separate post.

I have one with the aboriginal finish, which looks like knapped stone. I like yours better! Great find!
