I really like the Savinelli author pipes but I find them to be too big for what I want right now. Martin at C Pipes made this small morta author style pipe with this really cool stem and really cool rusticated look. Perfect size pipe for what I am looking for. Length is 4.2 inches, and bowl depth is 1.2 inches. That stem, wow, really classy looking. Just waiting for the mailman to deliver it this week. Check it out...

Although I'm not normally a fan of really short pipes, that is quite cool looking! Reminds me of some of the old CustomBilt pipes from years ago. I assume that's a cup of espresso, because the pipe really looks huge next to it. Let us know how it smokes!

I really like a good pocket pipe, for travel or otherwise hauling around. This has the added feature of being a morta, for added interest. I have a similar smooth briar with what I see as a tomato shape and a similar thick shank and stem. For a take-along pipe, these compact stout pipes are often just right.

It also reminds me of Custombilt pipes, it's like they had a secret series of Morta pipes that were just uncovered, very cool.
