Even after two years, and countless smokes, Missouri Meerschaum's radically designed reverse calabash cob is still holding up after countless smokes. I regularly wipe the bowl out with unscented diaper wipes after each smoke, and is still quite the smoker. When I originally purchased it in the Summer of 2015, thought it a novelty and that it wouldn't hold up, but it's still going strong. Bravo MM.

The original run was a limited 250, but MM said last year that they would like to make more. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the explanation Tom.
That said, I haven't noticed my Mark Twain to smoke hot so perhaps I can give one of these a miss. Funky looking pipe mind :puffy:

Jay.

Also not my cuppa. I know they were sold out instantly and those that have them love them and want more, though.

It's a neat idea to make a cherrywood reverse calabash out of a General and Rob Roy. I give MM credit for being creative. I would have liked to have grabbed one when they were around, but they sold quick. I'm glad yours is holding up well for you Duane. It's a great looking cob. :puffy:

I've been wanting one ever since. I even look on Ebay for them occasionally lol. They never pop up, so those who own them must love them. :D

I've seen two on eBay. Both went to foreign buyers, and both sold for around $150.

Have a three year old son, and you would be amazed how many baby things can be repurposed for pipes.

I have 20 cobs going back to 2012. Only one burnout in that time and countless smokes in the others.

I guess you could use a pacifier for a softy bit.... Do it! Do it! Do it!! And post photos!

The small bristle brushes to clean bottle airways make great shank brushes, and are cheap!

With proper care, they can last for years, even decades. Very underrated pipes.
