Hey ive been really looking at purchasing one of these, but i dont want to use 30 dollars on a pipe with a cruddy plastic stem. MM advertises that its some other type of material.
Does anyone have any experience?

MM now uses acrylic for all their bits and stems, according to what Phil, the general manager has told me. I'd suggest you get one on their Natural Freehans, which are awesome.

The MM Freehand is my favorite pipe. I have lots of briars, but the MM smokes exceptional...you will not regret your purchase. Just smoke slow and buy it from marscigars.com their price is only $22. Also if you do get the Natural, use some pipe mud first because the natural (un)finish allows the pipe to burn out quick.

I just ordered this model from Mars a few days ago I can't wait to try it. I have been loving smoking my MM corn cob these days - just keeps on tickin' like an EverReady battery.
