Have both of them but I am sharing the resentment about the bits. They feel as if they won´t stand clenching very log. Maybe I find some better ones sometime....

Between the two, I do prefer the flat bottomed version ... just for practicality. They both smoke the same, however, and hold about the same amount of tobacco.
I've never had any complaints about the soft stems from MM. My older ones look like a Rottweiler got a hold of them but they are molded to MY teeth ... custom fit! LOL :D
