Hello - I recently purchased a Kaywoodie #61 "Super Grain" in an antique store. It has seen better days

but it is intact and a good candidate for a restoration project this Fall. One problem: the little cloverleaf logo is missing. A nice little recessed cloverleaf-shaped hole, but the inlay is gone. Any suggestions on a replacement?

Thank you!

Try finding plastic toothpicks or something similar. I found some at Kroger's. Heat it up, and press it into the hole. Then pull it out and super-glue it in. You will have to sand down the excess, but it comes out looking good. I've had to do it to a couple.

Ashdigger, I may have to try that route as well. I've had three come out while soaking them in alcohol.

I've heard this complaint about the Kaywoodie logo in the past. It's a strange flaw with the logo. Many pipes can go completely decrepit but the logo shines on.
