My son came over on Christmas with an unopened tin of McClelland Christmas Cheer (2003). He left me a baggie with enough for a few of bowls. As Oliver said.

2003 is by far my favorite Christmas Cheer -- a really sweet, spicy, complex Virginia.

Awesome score brother. Enjoy the heck out it and smoke it now over the holidays.

Once the Cheer is opened from the cellar it is best to smoke relatively quickly within a few weeks. There won't be much added benefit of jarring it back up for a special event. YMMV.

I think mine is 2015, and it has a few years on the shelf to go. A test of self-restraint. Plenty of other goodies to divert me meantime.

I always wanted to try it,never had the chance...and now I will not spend the extra money for it.Sounds right to me, as I love Virginia's.

You have a great son, my friend! I haven't met a Christmas Cheer that I didn't like. I'm still working on a can if 2002.
