I got married this weekend! It was fun and awesome. I knew she was the one when she told me Royal Yacht smelled like cologne...and assurance was added when she suggested we build a smoking lounge and bar in the basement.

Here's my issue. My lady typed up our "story." She referred to me as a hipster in our story...when we first started dating she called me a hipster too...I smiled and nodded and then went home and had to google what this term meant. I even called my 16yr old nephew to discuss what this term meant. In my google research the first article I read was about New York hipsters paying to have beard transplants...this sounds like the least manly thing a person could ever do.

I live a boring life. The only TV I watch is The Walking Dead, Star Wars (anything), and the Green Bay Packers. I just need to know why does having facial hair and smoking a pipe make one a hipster?...I love this woman but OH GOD WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!?!?!?!
p.s. she also has bought me 5 pipes this year...i know you're all a touch jealous

Aldecaker...she said it was because at the time we met I had a handle bar mustache and she never saw me without a pipe.

Maybe the question I should ask is why would i be with someone who would date a hipster??

Deathmetal - Only one i know up there is Opeth...I got into metal through the Milwaukee scene in the late 90s...7 Angels 7 Plauges - Forever is Forgotten - End this Day...then a lot of older Underoath, Zao, SlipKnot, Unearth...my favorite band of all time is not metal though - Hatebreed

Those are not my rips. While I think it should be legal to share music, were I to rip albums to YouTube I'd want to do it so that the ad revenue went to the band.
@thediabeticman:
Some of the bands I posted have more hipster appeal than others. It's more of a humorous take on the whole thing than anything else, because these internet tests are generally excremental. Hatebreed seems at least to have no subterfuge between image and what they deliver. As far as the other bands, I'm not particularly familiar. Mostly I listen to... good old-fashioned death metal.
