Some weeks ago i was wondering how to sanitise and de-ghost old pipes, with no retort, since i have an allergy to fire and alcohol or using salt and alcohol method.
Well using the idea of some other BOTB on the forums I bought a home grade ozone generator.
I put all my pipes in a large ziplock bag, put the ozone tube in the bag and let it run three circles of 30 minutes each with 20 minutes off between each circle. In a word GREAT!!! no smell, no ghosts and smell like...well the first day of spring. Its a $60 device that can be used for many things but even just for maintaining my babes new is well worth the$$$
