My two rescue cats were kittens of a mama who innocently nested in a storm drain.
The rescue organization pulled them out because they would have drown in the first
good rain. They had to be bottle fed, but as a result, they are extremely trusting and
companionable. They look like pedigree Maine Coon cats, big blousy "britches" and
dramatic coloring (one tabby and one gray with white fades). Very dog-like, buddies
and participants in every activity. The kitten phase was insanity, with two siblings.
Great fun, but really like insanity. I'd run errands just to return to my normal mind.
Best moment, a dried fish in a plastic wrapper being used for a surf board by one of
the boys who, with a running start, made it clear down the length of the living room.
