I had bought this off eBay in mid December, and then things got busy. I realized a few days ago that it had never arrived here at Fort Muchotabak. So I checked the tracking info, saw that the package had never been picked up from the seller, opened a case with eBay, and promptly received a full refund.
Today, it arrived.
Odd.

Please post your comments on that tobacco. I tend to avoid older aromatics, as I have gotten some serious toungue bite of some 8 year old Peterson special Reserve. Found that a 9mm filter pipe and old Pete Aros go together best, but there is still some bite. I realize, of course, that Poul Olsen is a different class altogether, but I am still curious. Great score, glad it came for you.

Right now, though, I'm nursing a scorched tongue. Molten cheese pizza, then a waffle fry that must have been right from the fryer. I'm dying here. Wanna try this stuff, plus some Sutliff goodies gleaned from the last Christopher Morley Pipe Club get together.
Maybe I'll just order up some more My Own Blend Livgarde and sniff at it.
It's good stuff.
