You continue to show us great works. I am trying my darnedest to make a pipe, so far lots of sawdust. What do you use for stains? I've read differing thoughts on stains or spirit based leather dyes. Thanks again for keeping the pipes coming.

i was using water base leather stain. on those 2 i used alcohol based stain i had for making ceder shafts for my long bow. i am going to buy alcohol based leather stain. the water base takes a long time to dry but you can use it just let it dry a few days.

Buckeye excellent craftsmanship. If I wasn't all thumbs and had any knowledge whatsoever of the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver, I'd take a shot at making/creating a beautiful pipe(s) as you have done. 8)
