Large Draft Hole or Bowl Damage?

While cleaning an estate GBD poker I got off of eBay, I noticed that I could pass a Q-tip cotton swab from the shank all the way into the bowl.

In your opinion, is this just a large draft hole, or bowl damage? I've never seen a hole that big, but I am newb.

I have several pipes that can pass a qtip through the shank. I dont consider any of them damaged. Its just the way they were made. They still smoke fine.

I have a Bennington Guardsman, in a prince shape that has the large draft hole, smokes fine.
