Hi folks,
I just wanted to share my experience and curious to know yours. Out of all my pipes, my Karl Erik is probably one of the best smokers, always reliable, and very nice cool smoke. My savinelli Trevi, on the other hand, sucks! So what’s your opinion on Karl Erik?

I have one, a straight billiard. Lightweight, good stem work, great smoker. It did have an inside coating that tasted like crap. It took 30 or so bowls to get rid of, but since then I've had no issues. Here it is:

I have a Karl Erik bent Dublin/freehand pipe I picked up years ago. One side is awesome grain and nice plateau on top, the other side, not so much, a cheap looking rustication to cover up some bad fills in the briar. Despite the flaws the pipe smokes absolutely amazing, which just goes to show a pipe doesn't have to be pretty to smoke great.
