For the last few months I have been content with my pipe collection. I would still browse the web looking at pipes but nothing caught my eye. Now, I have just realized, I don't have enough billiard pipes in my collection. So, now I'm searching for a nice billiard. I would prefer the bowl to be no taller than 1.75 inches. And, the search begins.....

Love the classic Billiard shape brother...I suggest giving Mark Balkovec a look, he does outstanding Billiard shapes...
and some new ones as well...I have his 1st Canted Cutty..and it looks like he did it again!...even better ;-)

Yes, the billiard is classic, my favorite shape - everyone has got to have one. I would recommend a Stanwell:

Enjoy the hunt. :puffy:

That is a nice stanwell. The reason I don't want the bowl to taller than 1.75 inches is, I just feel like the pipe is to big for my face when I look in the mirror.

I used to not care for shapes in the billiard family but now I love them, especially Canadians. The best smoking billiard I have is a Pete that I got in a trade from another member on here. It smokes great and I find myself reaching for it time and again.

My first briar was a billiard (no-name). My first Meer was a billiard (paykoc). My first Dunhill, a group 4 Billiard. Gotta say I like billiards.

I like those Rad Davis pipes in the link provided.
I have a few smooth Rad Davis pipes in my collection. I do not yet have any sandblasted ones yet from him.
