So I noticed my straight pipes are all deep, but not as deep and past the stem hole as this one is, is this a burn out of some sort or is it because it is a bent pipe?

I was curious because my others look like this, they are straight pipes:

Just don't want to ruin it. that's all.

I don't see an issue. Some pipes are drilled a bit past the draught hole if people don't pay attention when drilling the chamber.
Only way to know is to smoke it.

Looks OK to me, the bottom of the bowl may have eroded a bit, but close enough. If it bothers you, you could add a little pipe mud and build it up, that technique works well.

I dont know, to me doesnt look like anything. If its a bent pipe, gotta remember that the drill bit is coming in from an angle, so most of the time they are not right on the bottom of the bowl. And personally I would rather have a hole that is just alittle high, instead of alittle low. makes it easy to clean.

If it is the beginning of a burn-out, you'll be able to see darkening on the outside bottom of the bowl. But burn-outs happen within the first one or two bowls in a brand-new pipe; if this estate pipe has been smoked even a half-dozen times, I would have serious doubts that you're seeing signs of a burn-out. I think a pipe would have to be seriously abused -- smoked furiously for long periods, deep gouges in the bowl -- in order to burn-out after those initial one or two bowls. In that case, then, it's not a matter of a flaw in the wood; it's a case of gross carelessness.
