Oh your paying sales tax. One way or another. The days of free shipping and no sales tax are numbered.

The rules for all this stuff is changing. You can see it with free shipping. It is becoming less and less common without some type of minimum purchase amount. Next will be an all state sales tax. Sucks but inevitable...

Either way, this is very proactive on the part of B&H. But they must still remain the low-price leader despite this rebate. Amazon and Adorama will either have to wait (and lose sales) and see if B&H can make this work, or they will have to jump on the tax rebate bandwagon.

I do remember from waaaaayyy back, having to include the "shipping weight" of every item I wrote down on the order form, and having to add them up to check against a shipping charges chart in the catalog. Not that many had "free shipping" even back then.
