If you Google search the image all hits come back to a collectors book for meerschaum pipes. The book is being sold by several sellers on Pinterest but I don't have the app to go any further with it. You would probably have to buy the book to learn more.

A guy who posts on another forum carved a briar pipe in great detail of a bearded man with a long flowing mane of hair. It reminded me of Grizzley Adams. Pictures were floating around of that pipe earlier this yr but I can't seem to find them now. It was a beautiful carving & I'm sure he had literally hundreds of hrs in carving it. When pushed to put a price on it to sell it I think I recall he said somewhere around $900.00. Don't know if it sold or not. If someone kept a pic of that pipe or can find it again please post it.
