Thats All of the ones i choose, but i highly doubt thats it for Trypis mainly because my supply just notified me that he has a late Christmas gift of 10 Trypis pipes for me so that might be a game changer lol. Also when i say "small" that means the chamber is 9/16" Dia just the way i like it.
These ATM are NOT FOR SALE. just thought id mention that so the mods don't think im trying to by pass the 6 pipe post limit.

Nice. I especially like the Rhody, bulldog and pot, but all are handsome.

Well Hell, I must have missed that one! Oh well, I probably don't need to be buying anything else anyway. I just got that Aldo Velani bulldog yesterday, spent nearly $250 on tobacco last week, I've got another NOS Nording in layaway, plus two Peterson estates on the way! Not to mention, I haven't received my birthday gift from my wife yet, and I'm betting she's got me some pipe/tobacco related stuff!

I really like his smooth pipes. Nicely proportioned and balanced, with a natural-looking finish that accentuates the quality and beauty of the briar. Thick walls, I'll bet that they smoke great. The rusticated pipes, on the other hand, just look like bad high school shop projects to me.

Sure amongst all the other rustications in the pipe world these don't stand out as the greatest but I like them it has cool feel about it. But I agree about the smooth ones they really do have nice grains. And yes they are excellent smokers.

I have to also say that the poker was my favorite. I guess you know if you get any more of those that they may get sold quickly ;)

I should have also said that rusticated pipes are usually not my favorites. I own four or five, and I find that I like them much better in person than I do in pictures. I think that it's the tactile thing: I need to feel it in my hand (that's what the girls at the picnic said).

Woodsroad, I agree you have to see these pipes in person to appreciate them. You can immediately pick out a Trypis at 100 yards because of the rustication he does. I'm not always fond of how he does the mixture of smooth and rusticated, but I have two freehands that the grain is fantastic on as well as the rustication and they do just feel good in the hands. I prefer sandblasts to rustication, but when you get one of these in your hands it just feels like a pipe should.
And SMokey.....love the poker! Nudge nudge wink wink :nana:
