I have searched this site and I can find alot of information on VA, Latakia, etc. One thing I can't find info on is Maryland. Is there a Maryland afficionado out there? Just curious if there is a blend that contains alot of it or is this leaf just a condiment? I kinds wonder because of Maryland's proximity to Virginia if it is lumped in with it? It is my understanding that even VA tobacco can be grown elsewhere and it is more of a type of leaf rather than where it is grown, right? So, what is Maryland tobacco? Where is it grown/processed and what blends contain it? What are its characteristics?

No need to apologize. Good question but I'm betting you'll have a better chance of getting an answer from "The Man in The Know", using that path, if you get me. Although I'm sure, Kevin, our Tobacco University Graduate could answer just as easily.

Ok, I've read his column before. Do I just send it to him in a PM?
