Hi everyone,
As some of you know, I smoke in my house, but I like to smoke an aromatic whenever I share a room with my wife. Today, as I was drinking coffee, working, and smoking some Peterson Sunset Breeze, my wife walked in, sniffed, and asked "What are you smoking" "An aromatic," I said, "One you like." "It's not very aromatic," she said, "Would you mind smoking something that smells better?"
Friends, I would have thought Peterson Sunset Breeze was PLENTY aromatic enough. In fact, I have smoked it off and on for years around my wife with nary a comment. But--wives are wives are wives.
Can anyone recommend an undoubtedly good-smelling aromatic?
I know some of you may recommend 1Q. No disrespect intended--but I can't smoke Lane tobaccos, especially 1Q. They all give me a sore throat.
I would also like to avoid, if humanly possible, "sticky" aromatics like Captain Black. I am just too used to smoking "non-sticky" stuff to enjoy gummy tobaccos.
Thanks in advance for any help with this. I usually smoke burleys and virginias and am not an aromatic specialist.
