Okay so I've been on a bit of a quest trying to find this blend. I had a great uncle that smoked a pipe and he always smoked a cherry blend, I vaguely remember the aroma but my mom said she used to love the aroma. I was just little when he died, so I never put a name to the blend. So he smoked it regularly in the 70s and 80s I assume it was a OTC blend because there has never been a dedicated pipe tobacco B&M where he lived. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Captain Black Cherry. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It may very well have been Middleton's Cherry Blend which is no longer in production.

That's what I was worried about with Middletons. With any luck maybe it was paladins black cherry. Thanks guys.

If it is cherry you want, stay away from my blend which is predominantly a light English aromatic "grape" containing 1/16th Latakia. Based on your information, I would bet it was probably Middleton's Cherry Blend. However, there are numerous offerings with "cherry flavoring". You should check out http://www.milantobacco.com/ or specifically check out the cherry offerings on their page here: http://www.milantobacco.com/milanpipetobacco.htm#aromatic
