I don't know what this shape is, it looks like a dublin sitter, but it has a poker feature on the bottom, and it is a sitter (I think), but it might be an axe, anyway it's awesome! Peter Heeschen is an underrated carver.

Peter Heeschen is an underrated carver.
At roughly $500 a pipe, I don't think so. Sure there's more expensive and I'm sure his will go up as he gets more name recognition. But I think his pipes are priced fairly and not underrated.

Yeah, I disagree that Peter Heeschen is "underrated". At the Chicago show (and at the pipe making seminar) he's considered to be a "Danish Rock Star".

Clarification: by underrated I wasn't referring to pipe price or size of entourage at Chicago, I was referring to = if you sat 10 people down and asked them to write down their top 3 danish carvers, I doubt he'd be one of them. He desn't get nearly the recognition I think from the little guy, the casual pipe admirer.
