Hackert really rubbed me the wrong way in my dealing with him. My friend emailed him with the same question I did and he got a quick and positive response, I did not get a reply at all. When I emailed him again he said that he doesn't do that, even though he told my friend less then two days before that he would do it no problem... :evil:
crap I just blew my pad last night with Mike at Grayfox. bought a 1/8th bent billiard shellcraft woodie. I guess that's how it happens sometimes lol.
Sorry to hear that Bubba… I’ve e-mailed him a couple times and found him to be short, but very responsive. By short I mean that is my perception of his written responses, like he very busy and not a big fan of e-mails. However that is problem with e-mails, they can come across much colder than intended.

His corncobs are top notch. I have 2 Hackert cobs, out of a 200 corncob pipe collection, they are among my favorite smokers.
