No, it is not the name of a midwest law firm.
I recently purchased a pipe from each carver.
First, a J Alan apple by Jeff Gracik:

Second, an Ingo Garbe brandy:

Third, a Stephen Downie - not sure how to categorize this shape - Stephen calls it a mandolin:

I normally don't go for textured pipes, but that Gracik sure is pretty! On a road trip through the midwest, my favorite law firm was Butts and Butts. I should have taken a picture.

peck, three great scores. That Downie is an eye catcher, never heard of that shape before, but I do like it. Some very graceful lines to it. I hope all three smoke great for you.

I'm down with GGD!
Great stuff,

I love that Downie, and the name is apt, it looks like a precision instrument capable of harmonious delight!

Big Wow factor on all three of them. The bent apple was my favorite, and I especially admire the oval shank on that one--truly magnificent transition. Enjoy them!

Garbe pipes look very distinctive without getting weird. I like them very much. -bw
