It never ceases to amaze me on how quick they sell out of pipes once posted up, it must be nice to have that kind a demand for your product.
The title of your post insinuated that you did indeed got "lucky", and I was going to ask if you had a picture of her.
a lot of pipe manufacturers have this much demand though, and a few tobaccos even do. I think its just that there aren't that many pipe and tobacco groups left and the number of pipe smokers has been on the rise the past few years after an all-time low that lasted long enough to put a lot of the old companies out of business.
