Following the white rabbit
I loved the television series Get Smart back in the day. I just finished watching the modern film based upon it and have to admit that, as stupid as it was, I laughed all the way through.
Sometimes a bit of stupidity is exactly what you need.

yeah Don Adams was great, and to be honest anything written by Mel Brooks is a winner (Blazing Saddles just cracks me up every time, no matter how many times I have seen it before)

I agree Mason. Sometimes after working long hours we get/act a little stupid. Just a way of dealing with the stess.

Young Frankenstein edges Blazing Saddles ever so slightly, in my book.

This sting seems to have morphed into a Mel Brooks admiration of stupidity string so....

We can't forget a family favorite around here:

RT: Men in Tights is one of my two favorite movies of all time - the other being Princess Bride - and Mel Brooks's sudden musical interludes are always worth it. :D

Those are truly funny. Especially Mel Brooks films. My favorite feel good films when I need a laugh are Roxanne, with Steve Martin, and Major League. I never Laughed as hard during a movie as I did during Major League.
