One of the few major types of tobacco I haven't spent much time with is Perique, so I thought that I had better educate my taste buds. Their notes say;
"A powerful and spicy blend of Perique, Burley & Virginias. Built up on a Burley base, with some flue & fire cured Virginias and a very big helping of Perique. It took us a lot of experimenting to get the balance just right and in the end we used a slight maple topping on the Virginias to add a little sweetness.
From the pouch this tobacco has a sweet aroma, but underlying this is a spicy edge. Smoking is much the same, what begins as a creamy/sweet smoke, soon becomes spicy with a more dryer texture.
Not for those who dont like full flavoured tobaccos with a big nicotine count."
The first bowl was very impressive so I'll post a full review when I've had a few more.
