I tormented as to what to have an inaugural smoke with in the 1922 14k engine turned gold banded Dunhill Bruyere and finally settled on Germain's Special Latakia Flake, I think I can hear angels singing!

banjo, congrats!

Is that a prominence overlooking the ME coast I see reflected in your glasses?

On second look, due to the shape of your glasses it's more likely the sky.

Nate,

I have several historical Dunhill pipes but this was the first smoke in this historical one.
newbroom,

This is the view behind me, Barrell Mill Pond, a tidal saltwater pond off the York River.

kyrob, thanks!
Harris, LMAO!
allan,

It was smoked but well taken care of, I'm sure the case had a lot to do with that.
Well you all probably know the Bruyere made it in great shape and the absolute best first smoke I've ever had in an estate pipe, it truly blew me away in how cool and dry it was to the end.
Thought I'd share a photo of the outside of the case which is stamped with a patent number and Dunhill London, also a photo with the case opened.
