I have been wanting an Eltang Poker for at least a year and now I’m glad I waited since they just came out with this new army mount version with horn. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Having trouble posting pic from my phone. Will try again later from my laptop.

    Edit: fixed pix/Al

Absolutely do, would love to see an example of one of Tom Eltang's iconic shapes!

Nice! What's the material used for the shank end trim?

That's beautiful! I saw a video on the smokingpipes YouTube about Tom Eltang and his process, it's worth a look. Very cool how he does his rustication, and it looks very comfortable to hold!

Just had a quick browse of Tom's pipes at SP; some truly stunning pipes. I must say I really like the taper stem on your example. Is it a military mount, or does it have a push tenon?

Great looking pipe, sir. I see many years of good and long smokes coming your way.

P.S. Swmbo's gonna love that new BMW coming her way.

Ooh, nice! The rustication and trim are complementary to the poker's overall design. Enjoy, sir!

That's a great looking pipe!.......... I like the smooth top, it really sets off the rest of the pipe.
    0.7 ounces is perfect!! Congrats...............

Had to blow the pic up. The rustication looks a bit like Capri and Sea Rock carving. The shape appears rustic like a cob. Man, I love it! Looks both comfortable to clench, and a lot of tactile interest while holding it. Great score!

Very Nice. I have grown rather fond of the poker style and this one is quite impressive. Everything about it just matches in with itself.
