Hello All.
I've got a question for those more knowledgeable than I. I've been browsing tobacco tins on ebay a bit lately and have noticed that a lot of tins say "2oz" when the pictures show that they are not the standard 2oz tins but look more like 4oz. Example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170686245337?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Did Pease tins used to be larger for 2oz? Am I just missing something?
Thanks folks

The tin styles changed, strave. The same thing happens with the "shoe polish" style tins as well; it depends on production plant & the equipment they use. When i get home I could post some pics for comparison for you.

Thanks gentlemen. That clears it up. I thought that perhaps they were listed as 2oz for ebay guidelines purposes, especially due to the fact that they sometimes go for 2x the retail price just because they have a few years under them. I'll steer clear, I can save some $$$ and let a tin sit in my own cupboard for a few years thank you :puffy:

Considering the world is coming to an end next year, you should try some properly aged tobacco before the whole $#!%house goes up in flames, as Morrison used to say...
